We invite you to submit your photo to be part of the Center Hill Marina Digital Photo Gallery. The photo gallery contains digital photographs taken by members and their guests illustrating the activities of our members and their guests as well as their boats, the marina, wildlife, the landscape around the lake and people having fun.

Center Hill Marina Digital Photo Gallery pictures can be seen on the gallery pages and may appear on other pages of the Center Hill Marina Website. Photos are selected based on creativity, photographic quality, and effectiveness in conveying the beauty or unique character of Center Hill Marina, our members and Center Hill Lake.

In order for your photo to be considered for the Center Hill Marina Digital Photo Gallery, the picture content must be relevant to our website.  We will consider photographs of people, places and things related to Center Hill Marina, Center Hill Lake and the immediate area around the lake. Please Read Terms and Conditions to learn about ownership rights and how your photograph may be used.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Photo Eligibility:

The original photographer, or a family member must submit the photo. Sending or giving us the photo constitutes your guarantee that you are the sole copyright owner of the image submitted.

Photo must have been taken of a place or thing on or around Center Hill Marina and Center Hill Lake.

Photo content must be appropriate for a family friendly website. Center Hill Marina retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content on its Website.

Please submit in writing pertinent information about the photo: Name of the photographer and a brief description of the picture (e.g. - Who, what, when and where etc.).

Format Eligibility:

Photograph must be in digital format and preferably in color.

We prefer .jpg format

A printed photo that has been scanned would be considered a digital photo.

If you e-mail the photo please keep the image file size no larger than 200K.


Modifications:

Minor digital enhancements are permitted, but images that have been significantly modified or appear unnatural will not be considered. If necessary, images will be sized and optimized for the Web before being placed on the Center Hill Marina Website.

One-step enhancements (e.g., AutoFix, QuickFix, Auto Levels, etc.). Corrective functions to improve the natural appearance of the image is acceptable or may be made by the webmaster


Crediting the Photo:

All photos selected for the Center Hill Marina Digital Photo Gallery will be credited to the photographer named on the written information that accompanied the photo.

Ownership Use/Rights:

Photographers retain the copyright to their photographs. By submitting your photo to the Center Hill Marina Digital Photo Gallery, you agree that without any fee or other form of compensation, Center Hill Marina may:

Display the photo on the Center Hill Marina Website.

Make resizing, optimizing, or minor cropping adjustments to fit the Digital Photo Gallery.

Use your photo as an "e-postcard, or on other material related to Center Hill Marina"

Make and retain copies of the photo for archival purposes.

Contact you at a later date to request permission for any other use.

In the event that ownership of an image submitted is contested in any manner, Center Hill Marina retains the discretion to discontinue use of the image in any form.

Inquiries from Website Visitors:

We respect your privacy. We will NOT release ANY personal information about you, your family or your guests. We will contact you and relay any requests for information. For example, someone wanting permission to use your photograph on another website. Any requests received will be forwarded directly to you.

You agree to release and hold harmless Center Hill Marina & Yacht Club LLC and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from Center Hill Marina using your photo.

Additional Terms and Conditions:

You agree to release and hold harmless Center Hill Marina & Yacht Club LLC and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your photo being in the Center Hill Marina Digital Photo Gallery, including infringement of intellectual property rights. Center Hill Marina & Yacht Club LLC and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from your photo being in the Center Hill Marina Digital Photo Gallery or resulting from forwarding an inquiry from a Website visitor regarding your photo.
